Perfume Factory - Ardmore Construction
ABM Tiling is excited to announce that we have been awarded the contract for the prestigious Perfume Factory Project for Ardmore Construction in North Acton, London. This high-profile scheme will transform a former perfume factory into a student residence comprising over 600 student rooms and 85 PRS residential units.
The Perfume Factory project is set to be a game changer, marking the construction of the tallest traditional masonry building in the UK. This development is being directed by Ardmore and comprises a series of blocks rising from 9 to 31 stories. The project includes 603 studio and twin bedrooms with 729 beds, arranged over 9 to 31 storeys. It also features 85 PRS residential units extending up to 10 storeys.
The re-development of part of the former Perfume Factory site at 140 Wales Farm Road in North Acton represents Imperial College’s ongoing investment within the London Borough of Ealing. The appointment of Ardmore as the main contractor for this important project shows the confidence that Imperial College has in Ardmore's capabilities to deliver one of their most prestigious schemes.
Ardmore's managing director, Cormac Byrne, expressed his delight in being appointed as the main contractor for this important project, saying "140 Wales Farm Road will be the tallest traditional masonry tower in the UK, and its unique design provides several challenges, not least providing external façade access at 31 storeys via an innovative climbing screen. We look forward to working with Imperial College and their team to tackle these challenges head on and deliver some of the best student accommodation in London."
ABM Tiling is thrilled to be involved in such a groundbreaking project and is committed to delivering top-quality work that meets the expectations of our clients. We are looking forward to working closely with Ardmore to bring this exciting project to life.
